Advantages:

• Data will never pass on to third parties,
• You can filter the results by category (news, photos, videos, music, etc.),

Disadvantages:

• The presence of contextual advertising can be distracting or annoying. However, private search engines only have a few funding avenues, one of which is profit from PPC views.

DuckDuckGo
